Vietnam trip announced to finalise Intacept Tag manufacturing and assembly strategy

Coinciding with the announcement that IntaCept will be trialling up to 50 of the IntaCept tag products with Snowy Hydro Limited, John Vanderhout, Chairman of IntaCept Limited is now finalising his travel arrangements to Vietnam to visit the contract manufacturers undertaking the production of the company’s first products.

John Vanderhout and David Bull are now in the process of negotiating the company’s manufacturing and assembly strategy with two companies.  High Mountain Company Limited in Da Nang City will be manufacturing the IP 56 rated plastic casing and CEI Contract Manufacturing Limited, Ho Chi Minh City will be manufacturing the circuit board.

John says that “this is a critical milestone understanding the best way to manufacture and then assemble our products in Vietnam whilst finalising the distribution options of our products into Australia.  Our negotiations with these companies and finalising our assembly and distribution strategy will ensure we have a defined supply chain model for when our first orders are being placed.  We’ll be testing this supply chain model with the delivery of our first products for the Snowy Hydro Limited trial in July.”

Meanwhile, the company has now entered the final and second stage application process with AUSINDUSTRY for an Accelerating Commercialisation Grant with the Entrepreneurs Infrastructure Program.  If successful, the company will be able to leverage 100% of funds raised with matched funding via an Australian Government Grant.  Additional funds raised will be used in accordance with the company’s Supplementary Offer Document that was issued to the market on the 30th of April 2015 which includes the final development of the Software as a Service platform that will enable the company to deliver a comprehensive compliance data management and commercial customer interface to both the Australian and International markets.  For further information, please access the company’s Supplementary Offer Document at .
